This page explains the cookies and similar technologies ThriveSurvey uses, what each one is for, and how to control them.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores on your device. It lets the site remember things between requests — that you are signed in, for instance. We also use local storage, which works similarly but keeps data in your browser rather than sending it back to us with every request.
2. What we use
ThriveSurvey uses a deliberately small set. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites from here.

3. Consent
Everything above is either strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for, or a functional preference you set yourself. Neither category requires consent under the NDPA or the GDPR and ePrivacy rules, which is why you are not met with a cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies we will ask first, and you will be able to refuse without losing access.
4. Surveys you answer
A survey may set a cookie so it can tell whether you have already responded, where the organization running it has enabled that. It stores no more than an anonymous identifier for that survey.
5. Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in, because the sign-in cookie is how the service knows who you are.
